Re: Interesting Rare Carrera
In Response To: Interesting Rare Carrera ()

It's a 110.253 Carrera, which uses a case almost identical to the 1153 and 1553 Carreras. I have one, recently acquired - the dial on mine is a blue Cotes de Geneve dial. The blue dials can fade, first to purple, then to brown - I'm not sure if this is a faded blue dial or an original fume dial (there seems to be some debate about whether fume dials were ever used in this model). The chrono seconds hand is also different from my model - I know they cam with different handsets too (some with steel hands, some painted white). Someone with a deeper knowledge than me should be able to tell you whether it looks all original!

Cheers
Steve

: Is that an autavia case ?
