Agreed, vintage rolex collecting has been like that for years and seems that heuer is picking up a wider appeal now too. We probably all look back on the ones we let go over the years and would pay double for now! My point though was that with the chronosplit it is the limited edition ferrari heritage that makes the ferrari version the more desirable as covered in Hondikee and other online articles rather than the more mass produced and widely available standard chronosplit. As I understand it they only went to drivers or owners and were not on the open market at the time.
