Re: Again: Transitional Heuer Autavia 2446

Well that's one of the main characteristics of the so called transitional 2446. It has the 'older' bezel type with the higher triangle. The bezel with the flat triangle is correct for the 'Rindt' Autavia, which also has a higher case than the early ones.

Best,
Manuel

: I have one of these mystery watches. The sub dial and main chrono
: hands aren't correct (it came with a later triangular shape main
: chrono hand like the one on the 1163 and three different sub
: dial hands, only one of which was correct) but the dial,
: crystal, hour and minute hands and bezel are untouched. What
: I've wondered about is the bezel triangle at 12, on the
: advertisement it's the same as mine, but I thought the second
: generation had the much flatter triangle. I don't seem to have
: any better pictures of the watch.
