You're right Jeff as over the last 20 years of thrift store hunting I have never bagged a good watch. However recently I visited an old jewellers in New Zealand with the usual opening line of "do you have any Valjoux powered chronographs from the 50's - 70's?" and he pulled out a 2446 Autavia!! However he refused to sell...we can all live in hope!
