Carrera 2447 Crystal Question

Hello,

I've a question to the experts. My local watchmaker recommended changing the crystal of my 2447N because of "small capillary cracks". Well, I'm not very happy with the result (see pictures 2447N vs. 2447S). The reflections look so much better on the 2447S crystal.

I still have the original crystal, but what would you recommend? Change back to original one with the capillary cracks? Is there new crystal similar to the original one, where can I find NOS-parts?

Also the pushers of the 2447N are a bit wider than on the 2447S. Should I try to change them as well, or were there minor differences during production-years?

Thanks for your help and best regards
Erwin
