I decided to change back to the original crystal, as I like the overall-look with the vintage crystal a lot. My local watchmaker recommended me changing to a more waterproof new one, but unfortunately I didn't find one with a proper look and it seems there are no NOS-original-crystals on the market left. One solution may be to sent it to Tag Heuer for service.

Meanwhile I'll treat my hydrophobic treasures appropriate ;)
