Re: Another Episode of Pass the Trash -- Damaged Seafarer

So it seems, to be a Man of the World, you need to pay about double what something is worth. Who are the idiots that pay these prices?
You can buy this all day long for well under $9000:

: We watched this one a few months ago when it was listed for sale
: by Crown & Caliber, first at $7,000 and then at $6,000. Here
: is our discussion .

: Now, we see this same watch listed by something called "Man of
: the World", at $8,150 -- Man of the World listing .

: I was contacted by the owner last summer, before it moved into the
: dealer channel, and estimated the value at $3,000.

: I am guessing that if this one gets one more pass to another
: dealer, we may see the listing price break the $10,000 mark.
