Re: Bezel remover tool
In Response To: Bezel remover tool ()

To remove a bezel takes a little experimenting. The bezels are usually held in place with a steel wire that is bent to straight and curved sections and snaps into the groove on the bezel. The straight sections of the wire snap into the groove on the watch case to hold the bezel in place. However, the wire does not go around all the way around and there is a "weak" spot when pushed up by a simple knife blade. This will allow the wire to release and the bezel to pop off. I have removed several bezels on Heuer , Rolex , Ollech Ways and other bezel watches without problems. The trial and error experiment is to find the weak spot of the retaining spring. I hope that helps and works for you. I don't think you need an expensive specialty tool to remove the bezel. Take care.
