Re: Serial Number on a Heuer Carrera 1153s?

Thanks again for your help. The buyer doesn't question the authenticity of the watch any longer but says that because of the missing serial number the price should've been much lower than the EUR 1.500 he paid for it.
What would be your appraisal?

: Hi there!

: I've recently sold a Heuer Carrera, Internet inquiries suggest that
: the model no. is 1153s. I received this a heirloom from my
: grandfather who originally bought it at the beginning of the
: 70s. The buyer now questions ist authenticity saying that the
: serial number has been removed.

: Can somebody tell me where the serial number on that type of
: Carrera is located?

: Many thanks in advance!
