Wow! That's amazing. Mine doesn't have the pitting and the engraving is the standard layout. Are there other Buren Chrono-Matics? I can't find any reference to this. I can't help but wonder why Hamilton would even be on board with that. And the dot?! What is it for? I found an ad from 1969 that refers to the CM being used to time the perfect three minute egg, but that seems trivial to add to this dial. I understand that there are some military applications for the three minute timer, but I'm not sure if this watch was ever produced for a military.
