11630 endlinks: the saga solved

As Darren stated in an earlier post: 'There are 2 different profiles for the 11630 case & the GMT uses the "fatter" of the two profiles so it could well be that the end-pieces you have will be intended for the other 11630 profile.' 24heuer.blogspot has pics of the 2 profiles: http://24heuer.blogspot.co.uk/2009/10/11630-lug-holes.html and states: Ok, I did a bit of measuring and both cases are identical in size with the exception of the thickness of the lugs and position of the holes.

As seen in the pic below there are 2 kinds of endlinks. Main difference besides the location of the tube is the curve as shown in this cr.ppy picture:
