Regarding Triple Calendar Chronos w/ Round Pushers
In Response To: Re: All the Carrera 12 Datos ()

Regarding the Heuer triple calendar chronographs, with the round pushers:

  • In my files, I have photos and information showing six of these watches
  • most have the number 2923 inside the case-back
  • serial numbers on the movements cover a range from 5032xx to 5041xx . . . so approximately 1,000 serial numbers
  • I see recent sales at 2,000 Pounds Sterling (Watches of Knightsbridge; March 2014) and $1,625 (Antiquorum; April 2012)
I will be surprised if you are able to sell yours for $88,000; I will also be surprised if you can show me 12,000 of the triple calendar chronographs with square pushers, which you say are 2,000 times as common as the ones with the round pushers.

I post this not for the sake of debating you, but so that someone will not come along and believe the nonsense that you are posting.
