I Would Pay $58.95 to Anyone Who Explains "Arcola"

I'm not sure about the watch, but would happily pay $58.95 to anyone who can definitively explain the "Arcola" logo on the dial. I know that Arno tried to figure it out, but I don;t believe that he was successful. I have heard everything from "Arcola" being an Italian yacht racing team, to it being a drag racing school in Virginia, to it being a golf tournament / country club in New Jersey.
