: This is my first post here. Fellow members on the Military Watch
: Resource forum (MWR) pointed me to this place, as I came across
: early Heuer chronographs which piqued my interest.

: I didn't bid on them but thought they looked pretty good in many
: respects -- curious what experts think.

: 1/ I really liked this one but its case back is obviously fake
: (horrendously mis-spelt, etched with clearly modern technology).
: Also the early Valjoux movement looked correct but the markings
: on it looked suspicious.
: I debated whether it was worth a go nonetheless, considering the
: dial, hands case and movement looked good.

A gentle prod as no one responded to my question...
Would anyone be so kind and help me understand why?
pls check the correct answers:

___ 1/ Not much is known about 1930s /or early models so it's anyone's guess;
___ 2/ No one cares about these early models;
___ 3/ Part of the answer was in the question, so who cares?
___ 4/ Who's this newcomer and who cares?

As an optimist, I'm hoping 4/ is not the correct answer...
