I might have been a little more angry than you were but that's just me. Hodinkee walks a fine line but my feeling is that they walk it well. The "What’s Selling Where / Bring A Loupe" column is a reader favorite. I am sure the column has its effect on the market but that is to be expected. Does TomVox want the column to stop because it has influence. This simply isn't the way the world works.

Making mechanical watches popular is a good thing. If yesterday's grail has gotten too expensive today, don't whine...go find another forgotten gem that you like. There are a lot of vintage watches out there.
