Finding beauty in an imperfection

Are there others here that that find this flaw in the production process beautiful.
There are a number of the blue dialled Heuer's from the late 60's to mid 70's suffered from paint failure but i am most deeply drawn to this mottled gold effect on the Silverstone.

Anyone else care to share their love for what is in essence a fault.
