My answer to Ben's question was basically this...When a really badly beat up Heuer Autavia sells for more than $40,000 I have to admit that I don't know much about values in the world of watches.

My answer also said that neither of these two watches (the similar Rolexes) are anywhere close to mint or sharp or crisp and that my conclusion is that one auction house did a much better job.
