Mystery chrono: Laurens. Anyone info?

Recently acquired this Laurens chrono. The brand did exist according to mikrolisk but hardly anything to find about it on the interwebs. Judging by the look of it I'd say it is a very early chrono dating to the 1920's. Case size is appr. 37mm.

Couple of remarkable things: 1) the subdial is at 9 o'clock which is extremely rare. Anyone a clue what type of movement it is?

2) the case is marked on the inside with what looks like a gold mark but I'm pretty sure the case is not made of gold

I know fakes were made earlier than most people think but this watch does not look fake to me.

Any help or info is appreciated!
