Introduction and question

Hello all! My name's Dave, 49 yo and I'm located it Northern California. In the 80's I purchased my first "high-end," "name brand" watch a F1 quartz all lume dial, which at the time was a very expensive watch to me. I then purchased a black dial version and a black dial chrono version. Then around 2003 I purchased my grail, a Heuer 1964 Reissue. Then this happened today! I dropped it on a tile floor from chest height. It landed flat like a pancake on the caseback. The crystal popped off and cracked. So here's my question. Where should I get this repaired? Should I go through a brick & mortar or send it directly to TAG? Any recommendations and experiences appreciated. I look forward to participating in this community. Thank you!
