Overpriced is One Thing; Counterfeit is Another

We all notice agree that there is a difference between being sold "overpriced" watches and being sold "counterfeit" watches.

I hate to sound like a lawyer, especially during the off-duty hours, but perhaps this hinges on the role that Mr. Dowling was taking -- selling as principal? earning a small fee as intermediary / broker? earning a large fee as intermediary; serving as a fiduciary? I expect that the details are spelled out in the complaint, but I haven't tried to track it down.

One thing we can all agree on -- it's great to have billionaire patrons, but these billionaires usually have good access to lawyers, and drawing up this sort of complaint is fairly inexpensive . . . even for mere millionaires!!
