At the age of 12 I saw the first Bulova Accutron Spaceview at a local watchmaker. At that time I didn´t know anything about Bulova (or any other brand). But I liked the colourful futuristic design. They were priced at DM 500.- which is roughly 250€/$, a huge sum of money which I even couldn`t imagine. Many years later I remembered these "humming" tuning fork watches (pre quartz!) and found the first one for 120€ (center bottom row) on eBay. This one is not an original Spaceview. The dial has been removed but it has a funny asymmetrical shape. More interesting is the center one which is an Anniversary 100 and today already harder to find.
