Also, a slight aside - I don't see demand slowing for 60's sports watches any time soon, as they're the designs that are still drawn from today in modern lines, and they were more robust / versatile than watches in previous decades. Simply put - they were some of the purest designs to ever be produced.

After the stability of a certain period's design aesthetics, I think it comes down to build quality and history (i.e. Heuer in F1 racing, Speedmasters and NASA).
