Heuer 100 -- Two "Faces in the Crowd"

It seems that the "grails" get all the attention, and I have had a couple of folks ask me to pick out some other interesting watches in the Heuer 100. So let me highlight a couple of watches that may not have achieved "grail" status, but they are in exceptionally good condition. Both of these winked at me, when I saw them at the Red Bar event, Monday evening.

First up is Item 94, the manual wind GMT in the 1970s style C-shape case (Reference 741.603 GMT). We are lucky to see one or two of these watches per year, but I am confident that you will never see another one in this amazing condition. It looks absolutely perfect, with some natural aging on one of the hands. It's got an estimate of $17,000 to $22,000, with no bid yet. Here's the Crown & Caliber listing -- https://theheuer100.com/product/heuer-autavia-741-603-gmt/

Item 37 in the Heuer 100 is a manual-wind Autavia in the "Siffert" color scheme. Again, this one is in brilliant condition, which really struck me when I saw it in the metal Monday evening. The estimate is $8,700 to $10,000, and it's currently sitting with an offer of $5,000. Here's the Crown & Caliber listing -- https://theheuer100.com/product/heuer-autavia-siffert-colors-73463/ [And, in response to a question, yes, I have forgiven the relumed hands, for the sake of the amazing dial . . . others may see it differently.]

So it's the "grails" that get the attention, but let me highlight these two as special watches that should not be lost as faces in the crowd.
