Re: Is this Huer Bund 1550 worth getting ?

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. I know the Bund's cloudy history might prevent it from seeing its value skyrocket, but at the same time I guess it makes them more value than models that have already skyrocketed.
I really love it and do not wish to buy to make a buck, I just do not want to get burnt if I ever need to sell it one day.
I think you understood my situation perfectly so thanks again for the comment. Will reply here if I get it !

: Hi. It would appear from your comments you've consulted 'brown
: snout' and are familiar with the considerations of originality
: and / or authenticity
: http://brown-snout.com/horology/articles/heuer_bundeswehr_chrono/

: If you like it and can afford it then you should go for it (though
: that comment is not directed specifically at this piece / its
: price). Is the Heuer Bund the most desirable of models? No. I
: can't easily imagine a situation in several years time where you
: selling your Bund will whip the collector community into a state
: of frenzy, but there's every possibility you'll easily find it a
: new home when the time comes for you to pass it on.

: Personaly, I own a Bund and I love it.

: Wear in good health if you decide to pull the trigger.

: Hello all,
