Here's the newest member of the Carrera family, the Calibre 5 "Ring Master", Tribute to Muhammad Ali, introduced at an event last night, in New York.

The approach to timing the three-minute rounds, and the one minute breaks, comes from the Ring-Master stopwatch (circa 1958).

This style of case and rotating inner bezel was used on the TAG Heuer Carrera "Drive Timer", which was issued a couple of years ago.

Once again, great to see TAG Heuer drawing on its heritage in creating innovative new watches. And, of course, great to offer this tribute to "The Greatest".
