Next Scan Day / March 6th / Competitors & Rivals

I like chuck's idea for our next scan day, so let;s go ahead and announce it for Monday, March 6th.

the theme will be "Competitors" or "Rivals". There are lots of approaches you might take to this one:

  • you might want to post a pair of competitors (Omega versus Heuer comes to mind), or
  • a single watch that is the competitor of your favorite Heuer might be interesting -- maybe the Zenith El Primero that raced the Chrono-Matics to market back in 1969, or
  • there are the friendly rivals -- maybe Autavia and Carrera, or pewter versus olive drab, or
  • there are the classic rivalries -- manual versus automatic; stainless versus gold; vintage versus modern; black versus white; red versus blue, or
  • think about two of your watches that "compete" for wrist-time and your affection -- which are the two that "fight" to be worn.

As always, these are merely suggestions, so you can stay within the theme, stretch the theme, or even ignore the theme entirely, and post photos of your kids . . . you know, the sibling rivarly thing!!
