Re: What happened on the buyer's end.

Getting a good deal from a dealer is one thing, when someone posts a "grail" for $1800 on the bay my response is to let the seller know that the watch is worth more, if I'm interested in the watch. I'm a strong believer in karma and part of the responsibility that comes with the knowledge that exists in the collector community is to do the right thing. The seller should have dine his homework before posting the watch but I'm not surprised that he cancelled the sale. A mistake was made and there is no reason for the buyer to benefit so one-sidedly in a deal. My two cents.
