Sixties Carrera - unsigned crown question

Hi - I am relatively new to all this and have been looking around for a sixties Carrera. I have noticed that some do not have signed crowns (eg a Carrera Dato 45 on this website and Carrera 12 I saw recently). Can anyone tell me if this is because some Carreras were produced without signed crowns or have they been changed as they wear?
Should they be replaced with signed crowns?
