Viceroy Autavia

I still wear the Viceroy Autavia that I bought new in 1972. I always wanted an Autavia but at $200, they were beyond my means at the time, but when I saw the ad I quickly ordered one for $88. My mother smoked Viceroys at the time. The watch has been dead reliable. I sent it back to Heuer in NJ for service about 1998 or so. I spent $125 on a cleaning, a new crystal and a metal Heuer band very similar to a Rolex Jubilee band. I have a couple of other watches I wear but I probably wear the Autavia the equivalent of four months a year. Still works great and loses about one minute a week.
