Re: Heuer Autavia Viceroy Advice
In Response To: Heuer Autavia Viceroy Advice ()

Hi Jon-great find and a lovely piece of history. Is it a 1163 (v)? If you could post the model and serial numbers (shown between the lugs at the top and bottom of the case) that will be a good start. Also is it the whole bezel or just the insert that is missing?

Pictures will always help to give accurate info!

Many thanks,

Steve

: So after some searching i came across this forum. Long story short
: my father in law gave me his dads heuer autavia viceroy. The
: crystal is pretty scratched and it is missing the bezel.
: Otherwise the dial is in good condition and when i wound it, it
: started up. The watch is pretty dirty but i am sure if i get all
: the grime out im sure it will clean up nice.

: The main drag is that the bezel is missing. I am not too familair
: with vintage autavias and i am looking to source the original
: bezel. Is there anyone on the forum that can help me find a
: reputable person who can take service it and help me source a
: bezel? I live near manhattan so hope that helps.

: Thanks!
