Of course mate, it is only opinions :) Early mk2 would be 91-94xxx, 100xxx are not early in the 2nd exec range.

There are many Carrera with changed hands out in the market, yes I see them, maybe some are fitted from new but almost are not and of course if in doubt then looking for all the normal signs of originality should be the first step.

As a general rule, black stripe hands should be fitted on 2nd exec from 91xxx onwards and short hands should be on scale hands and std length on plain "non scale" dials. 1st exec from 537xx to to 80xxx (on 2447) would be plain steel hands, with small possibility for early 91-94 range to have plain hands (but I'm not so sure about these 91-94xxx with plain steel hands myself and say so in the book).
