Thanks for your input and theories. The watch looked so nice I was curious to know if anybody ever seen another one or had ideas.
I did a bit more research and have another theory. Allegedly when things got very difficult for Heuer and people were made redundant they were given the pick of spares leftover parts. I can imagine that somebody picked up the parts and had it made into this watch. I am anything but technical so dont know how easy / difficult it is to put a cal 11 in the 11630 case?
