You've reminded me of another Senna in the rain moment. At the European GP at Donington Park in 1993 I had spent the two practice days picking the best spot to watch the race and decided on half-way up the slope above The Old Hairpin bend. That was absolutely the best place to see him scythe by Prost, Schumacher, Wendlinger and Hill on the run from Redgate through the Craner Curves and emerge in the lead at the end of the first lap.
