What Jeff Said!

This is a beautiful and honest watch with a great story. I salute the owner for leaving it original. As Jeff says...the new owner can find a replacement easily and at a fairly good price considering the rest of this watch.

: From an auction perspective, this owner has chosen to keep the
: watch original. Sure, he could have replaced the bezel with a
: much cleaner one, but as they say, "it's only original
: once". The new owner will be able to make the decision --
: keep it original or replace the bezel. Another alternative might
: have been for the owner to have replaced the bezel, but offered
: the original one with the watch, but that gets a little clumsy.
