Re: Caseback stamping on 11630mh - C P296-7

Hi Daniel-this is not totally uncommon. It means the watch was originally intended for the Swiss market-

'The « Cxxx » markings on the case back, signifies that it was made for the Swiss domestic market and distributed by Heuer’s Swiss distributors Cuanillon'

I believe this quote is accurate, but stand to be corrected.
Best,
Steve

: I've recently added a 11630mh to my collection and on the outside
: of the caseback towards the edge of the dome edge it has stamped
: C P296-7

: Checking around and goggling I can't seem to find any comments on
: similar stampings, so would appreciate if any one's got any
: thoughts.

: Cheers,
: Daniel
