It's Friday -- Don't You Just Love This Hobby!!

It's interesting to think about the ways that these two watches are the same (both are late 1960s, manual-wind chronographs, in 40 mm round cases, with rotating bezels, with classic movements, on GF bracelets) and the ways that they are different (starting with black and white dials; the 12 hour and 24 hour indications; the movement makers (Valjoux and Venus); small and standard size registers; numerals or markers; snap-back (compressor) and screw-back cases, etc., etc. etc.).

But you would have to say that the "style" / look / vibe is basically the same. And I am guessing that if you like one, then you will probably like the other!!

Thanks to Joshua at European Watch Company, in Boston, for the new UG . . . It's the newest one in my collection, and it's already broken into the top 10 list!!

Wishing everyone a great weekend in this wonderful hobby!!

Jeff
