I do believe Brevet is simply "Patent" in French, not a brand name. I could be wrong but I believe it is just saying that the case was patented just like a lot of older Rolex crowns with Brevet inscribed in them, the crown design was patented. So...SA would be the Swiss case manufacturer? Of course I can't keep all of the watch part manufacturers (and their abbreviations) straight as there were so many before the Quartz crisis.
Certain parts for these (movement and maintenance items) are still able to be sourced if needed. I haven't seen a pic yet but as previously stated the quartz examples are much rarer than the autos so the more pics the better.
