Heuer Made Triple Calendar Watches in the 1950s
In Response To: Heuer MEX ()

Your have posted several samples of the Heuer triple date watches from the 1950s, and no doubt Heuer made such a model.

The "Mex" sample that you have posted seems to be a complete fake -- fake markings on the dial, the movement and the case. Nasty looking.

I have no idea why someone marked it "Mex" . . . perhaps a customers initials? perhaps to suggest that it is Mexican military watch [though an unusual style for a soldier]?

You asked "who ever saw an "HEUER MEX?" and the answer seems to be "no one". You asked "who knows anything about it?" and you have reliable experts answering that we know that it's a fake.

Not much more to say . . .

Jeff
