Last Friday, at TAG Heuer Headquarters -- Orange!!
In Response To: Friday - Old Style ()

When I was packing for the trip to Geneva, I threw an orange shirt into the bag, thinking that I might have a chance to see Peter Moller, and his amazing orange Autavia.

Mission accomplished!! And yes, the intense orange of this dial made the shirt look almost dull!!

Thanks, Peter!! Wishing everyone a great weekend, even if not as memorable as the last one!!

: Hi folks,

: after staggering days/weeks of Autavias, Carreras and Monacos in
: the spotlight, I received a watch yesterday that I was so much
: looking forward to like seldomly before. It’s kind of weird
: that my personal interest in the before mentioned models fainted
: a bit the more popular they became. Obviously they are still
: absolutely beautiful watches and I really enjoy them every time
: I see one but it doesn’t feel the same anymore. Am I getting a
: bit soppy here? Not at all as I took the chance to discover some
: other great watches, learned a lot about them and enjoyed them.

: To make a long story short, I was finally able to acquire an
: elusive what I think is ref 346 with an absolutely charming
: Patina of the tri-tone dial. Does that term even exist? It does
: now anyway. After a bit of a back and forth due to some
: technical issues it’s now ready to wear. And I will wear the
: hell out of it over the next days/weeks and hopefully catch some
: sunshine to let the dial shine and sparkle.

: Thanks for having a look.

: Enjoy your weekend!
