Different Memories of Different Watches

Yes, we all have different memories of different watches, over the past 15 to 20 years.

When I think of the 18 KG Carreras a long time ago, I recall guys trying to sell them for $3,000 or maybe $3,500, and their frustration when they had to settle for $2,000 or maybe $2,200 if they were lucky / patient. We didn't distinguish between the different models, but the one thing we all knew is that Heuer guys didn't want gold watches!!

: Welcome to the club Ben!

: I still remember when these weren't seen as desirable very much at
: all and yet somehow still seemed to be hard to get. The former
: has changed, the latter not so much.
