Re: 1960s Pre-Carreras / Numerous References

Many thanks for the prompt reply Jeff,

The ones I had in mind are stainless steel, both 2 register and
3, and 36-38 mm. I don’t know much about movements. I love the
round cases, though I don’t know if they came in any other case shapes
in the sixties. The silver or light dials are my favorites.

I’ve seen some on Ebay but they seem dodgy, in terms of lack of information or
unclear images or just unappealing.

Best wishes
Rohit

There are numerous models and styles of Heuers, that tend to get
: lumped into the "pre-Carrera" category. You inquire
: about the 1960's pre-carreras, but I believe that we can be more
: helpful if you can provide some additional information:
: stainless steel or chrono-plated (or maybe gold or gold-plated)?
: two registers or three? small (say, 34 mm) or larger (say, 38
: mm).
: There are a lot of great choices out there, and if you give us some
: parameters, we should be able to provide some assistance /
: recommendations.
