I'm watching this one too. Initially I thought the PVD may have been polished off, which we've seen before on at least one of these. Given the case finish however I think it has come from elsewhere, likely to replace a faded/tarnished ex-PVD case.

Caseback likely retained from the original-I noticed the 'R'110.571 which I thought was odd, but can now see this has been seen on at least 2 others, with very similar serials too. I haven't found an answer for the 'R' yet though......

Happy to hear other theories.....

Overall I have to say perversely, I think it's a really good looking piece!
