IFR Timer repair

Hi All,

I am new here so please bear with me.

I have a Heuer IFR timer (at least 30 years old) which I would like to have repaired as a gift to my son who is a pilot.

The problem is the minute dial will not move.

I sent it to Tag Heuer in New Jersey. They could not fix it but wanted $150.00 to send it to send it to Switzerland for a repair estimate.
I thought this to be a bit of a crap shoot and had it returned.

I was wondering if any of you folks might know a reliable watch maker, preferably in the New York area, who be able to handle this repair.

Thank you for any help you might be able to supply me with.

Steve
