Here is a shot of mine which has a blue dial(but looks black under certain conditions).

I looked in my records and found I purchased this in May of 2001 for just over $1,000 from an seller in Germany. The sellers description said made in 1969.

Agree, it is a SOLID chunck of watch machinery for sure.
