In Response To: 3-Register Micro-Rotor? Doesn't sound right. (Chicagoland Chuck Maddox)

: Chuck,

link to ebay sale attached.

ebay item

Item Description: 17 Jewel Heuer cal. 12 , Micro Rotor Automatic , Case Style # 1163 V, All Stainless Steel 40.5mm bezel Diameter, 47 mm across the lugs, Original Signed Heuer Crown, 100% Mechanically Perfect, Chronograph Functions Flawlessly , All registers reset crisply , Case, Crystal & Band Have not been Polished, After Market JB Steel Band, Only one Service Mark inside back.

Ok, I had forgotten that some people insist on calling 2-sub-dial Chronographs "3-Register" for some reason.

I'm not an expert on Viceroy's, Jeff's your guy, but I don't necessarily see anything that is glaringly wrong with this one. The bezel is very used, and the case is dirty (the seller could increase it's value by $50-100 by simply Q-Tiping the back of the watch around the lugs! I'd look for Jeff's comments, and this one might clean up nice, but I've seen cleaner ones on eBay.
