Remember Those Fake Heuer Dials in Singer Design Porsches

Some years ago, we discussed the fact that custom Porsche shop, Singer Vehicle Design, in California, was using counterfeit Heuer dials on the clocks installed in some very expensive Porsches. Here's one of our previous discussions, from 2011 -- http://chronocentric.com/forums/heuer/index.cgi?md=read;id=43160

Seven years later, I had a look on the internet and was interested to see the next generation of these fake dials, made by another shop in California. Check the discussion here -- https://rennlist.com/forums/964-forum/616946-tag-heur-gauge-2.html

You've got to love a guy making these fake dials, and meticulously watermarking each of the photos. If the guy making these dials actually has a license from TAG Heuer, please let me know, and I will be happy to update this thread.

I am still perplexed that anyone would spend big bucks, on a top vintage Porsche, and use one of these fake clocks. But maybe that's just me??
