For a long time, I've been eyeing these from a distance.

Finally pulled the trigger . . . love the concept of the center-mounted chronograph minute hand; love the case and pushers; liking the mottled look of the dial [and I will avoid the "tropical" reference]; uncertain about the legibility factor, as the red chronograph minute hand is not easy to spot.

Bottom Line -- A damn good concept / style for a circa 1940 chronograph!!
