In Response To: The rules are the same for everyone… Bid as you… (Chicagoland Chuck Maddox)

chuck: you put much effort into this answer: and I want to thank you....

You're welcome, but you might be surprised... In my old age, I've become pretty effecient in typing, composing (on the fly), and borrowing from old posts to get posts made quickly and without undue effort.

I also agree you can be MUCG (much) faster with manual bidding...in former times I had a special watch, which counts such accurate and matchs 100% with the ebay time: you can bid 2 seconds in advance...no problem manually, but with snipes, it will not work!

For quick reactions to the situation at hand, there is no substitute for a warm body at the browser. I use a bidding service more than anything else these days myself, but I use a variety of methods to keep my skills up.

I ONLY use it, because all the items I like are far away and this maschine is doing it 24/7 for me...its very convenient....and be informed my win/dont won rate is still 50/50 ...so snipers dont have an advantage, besides in convenience: of course this is my personal opinion!

Snipers only have an advantage if you let them have an advantage. If you plan your strategy and bid appropriately you should have just as much chance on any given item regardless of which method you use to post your bid.
