Well stated Jeff. Here’s what’s interesting......why would the owner choose a Yema Yachtingraph style of count-down vs. a 7764 for example. I believe the Yachtingraph was originally introduced around 1966 (with a Valjoux 7730). Given the style of the countdown, this would have likely had to be done after that, so the watch was customized after some years of use for sure. Given both Heuer and Yema had Yachting chrono’s out at that time, seems interesting that the Yema style was chosen vs. the Heuer style with 3 primary colors and segments. Makes you wonder if this was done during the Yema (LeJour) Yachtingraph craze a few years ago. If so, what a colossal error. I’ll leave it at that. Jeff
