Re-edition Monacos

I think most people would agree that you can't beat the sheer sophistication and sense of history that a vintage monaco possesses.
I have to admit though that the re-edition Monacos from Tag-Heuer are very attractive timepieces.
I have been told that Tag-Heuer have released two different models of the Black dialled monaco: one with the Tag Heuer logo, without a date register, serial model CW2111 and one with the Heuer logo that does have a date register. Does anyone know if this is correct, what the serial number of this latter model is, and is there a difference in the shape of the casing between the two different models and relative value?
